Strengthening collaborative work in the Maule region

Why collaborative work?

Given the challenges we currently face, the need to join forces and align the efforts of different stakeholders is paramount. The Maule region is no exception. The rainfall deficit worsens each year, and wild areas are steadily losing ground. From this perspective, collaborative models are more important than ever. The Pillanmapu Geopark is taking a step toward collaborative work by creating the Friends of the Geopark Network.

Why should I join?

Being part of the Geopark Friends Network is beneficial for all its members:

  • The network of contacts allows for joint work, streamlining and increasing the efficiency of projects.
  • Participants are in close contact with the Geopark team and can benefit from their expertise in science, heritage, and geotourism.
  • Through the Geopark, they can work together with academia, facilitating the development of projects that require research.

Why should I join?

Who can be part of it?

The Geopark Friends Network is open to all companies, NGOs, foundations, and private institutions operating in the Maule region that share institutional missions and visions aligned with the Geopark. Examples include tour operators and guides, non-profit organizations dedicated to heritage preservation or sustainability, neighborhood associations, and local producer groups.
